Code of Conduct

  1. Every participant must behave respectfully towards the representatives of PVP Esports, press, viewers, partners and other players, both in person and online. This includes posts made on social media and in-game.
  2. Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Hate speech, offensive behaviour, or verbal abuse related to politics, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion.
    • Stalking, harassment or intimidation, whether in person or online.
    • Spamming, raiding, hijacking, or inciting disruption of streams or social media.
    • Posting or threatening to post other people’s personal information.
    • Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes unwelcome sexualized comments, lewd jokes, and sexual advances.
    • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.
  3. Participants must not bring, consume, or otherwise possess any alcohol, drugs, or other illegal substances.
  4. Participants must ensure the safety of all other participants and must not bring or otherwise possess any dangerous weapons, or any other item that can cause harm to any person.
  5. Participants must ensure that the PVP Esports event locations are not damaged in any way. Participants will be held responsible for any damage caused.
  6. Participants must be dressed and conduct themselves in a socially acceptable manner.
  7. Participants must not bet, gamble, or otherwise take part in any illegal gaming.
  8. Participants may not fix or throw matches for their favor or the benefit of others.
  9. For live events participants must practice social distancing and wear face masks.

Violation of this Code of Conduct can result in disqualification and/or a ban from entering future events held by PVP Esports, especially in the case of repeat or extreme violations. Any illegal actions will be reported to the police.
